On the first day, students carried out an observation at Labschool UNESA Elementary School of Surabaya. According to Tarinda, one of the students of this program, the activities consisted of collecting information about the school’s learning system, an interview about the learning activities during pandemic, and a seminar. Later, the students need to make a report from those activities as their task.

The trip continued to Bali and students arrived there on Tuesday (25/10/2022). “The trip began from Pura Ulun Danu Beratan Bedugul and then continued to Panglipuran Village, Cening Bagus Souvenir Shop, Melasti Beach, Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Jimbaran Beach, Joger, and Krisna Souvenir Shop.” Tarinda explained about the trip and its destinations.

Tarinda also added that on the last night, the students held Malam Keakraban (Makrab) event at Jimbaran Beach. The event provided a stage for students from each class to do performances such as poetry reading, dance, singing, and flash mob. Most of the students stated that they enjoyed the event and were happy about it. At the end of the event, students were singing and dancing together for the closing.

They headed back to Surakarta on Friday (28/10/2022) morning local time. Regarding this field work program, Tarinda expressed her thought and hope, “This program is really beneficial for us to gain more knowledge about learning practices and to refresh our mind after being in a class for a long time. I hope that UNS will continue this program in the future too.”
